The origins of the Female fishing club — a note from the president.

It all started on a hot summer evening in northern Indiana. I tagged along with several older cousins as they went to fish was reeled in. I was “hooked!” 🐟

Three fish were caught and I felt the friendship between us Fisherpeople grow.

It was then I decided it was time to make a fishing club. A female fishing club to be exact. Does this mean all males are excluded? No! We need mascots, fish de-scalers, filleted and barbecuers!

Club members already include students, artists, teachers, truck drivers, athletes, nurses, parents and grandparents.

Everyone is invited; if you don’t know how to fish, we will teach you. After all, it’s like they say: “give me a fish and I eat for a day. Teach me to fish and I feed everyone at the next gathering.”
